Brittany Ferries is the only ferry company operating from the port of Santander. The company serves an estimated 150,000 travellers annually between Santander and Plymouth. Their largest ferry serving the route between Santander and Plymouth features a comprehensive array of onboard amenities.
The Pont Aven is operating the route since March 2004.

Brittany Ferries operates ships on the western channel. Their fleet consists of classic cruise ships and high-speed catamarans. All of the vessels offer excellent on-board facilities, including shopping, dining, and live entertainment. Their largest ship the Pont Aven operates the Santander-Plymouth route.
From the port of Santander, the company offers two sailings per week between Santander and Plymouth. The Pont Aven sails the route and is a luxurious flagship ferry, which has been in service since March 2004. It boasts numerous features including a swimming pool and leisure area, a wrap around promenade, a five-deck high atrium and superb accommodation facilities.
Other onboard facilities include a children's play area, cinemas, slot machines, main bar, piano and cocktail bar, pool bar, video games room, a main restaurant and self-service restaurant, a coffee shop and currency exchange service.
The ship can carry 2,400 passengers and has a capacity for 650 cars and 20 trucks. There are 652 cabins and 47 reclining seats onboard. The vessel is 600 feet long and can reach a maximum speed of 27 knots. The sailing duration from Santander to Plymouth is approximately 20 hours, 30 minutes.
